description | description | text | The text of the request | City street tree blocking on street parking ar 105 North Roosevelt Street. Tree is on south property line of 107 North Roosevelt street. Tenants of 105 have on street parking only and it is not possible in front of the I crouching tree. Please let me know what you will do to take care of the issue. Thank you. car parked yellow curb I am writing to ask when I will ever be able to park my car near my house again. I live at 1416 S Monon Dr and all street parking has been outlawed pending road work that seems to have moved North onto Walnut St. A flyer was circulated at the beginning of May stating that the work would conclude before June. It has now been two months that no one on my street has been able to park at their home. Unloading groceries, entertaining guests, and transporting garden items have all been difficult or impossible because of the parking embargo. I have a motorcycle in storage that I can't take out because there is nowhere I can safely park it near my residence. Is there an end in sight? Should I just leave the motorcycle in until next summer? Obviously if the tentative end date is as illusory as the June deadline just don't tell me because that will be more infuriating than just hoping to wake up one day on a street not ravaged by smashers and cement trucks. A large white box truck taking up residential street parking. It appears this person is moving this truck around the neighborhood. I believe the owner is running a business out of this truck. He meets people and appears to sell parts and then he locks the truck and rides away on a bicycle. There is a solar panel on top of the truck and a power cord running in. The owner and 'customers' meet and climb in to the back of the truck through the cab and then leave after some time. I have seen this because he has parked by my house more than once. It is concerning because parking is so very limited in my neighborhood and this truck is taking up a valuable residential parking. I have noticed he moves the truck around the neighborhood every few days so he is aware of not parking it for very long to avoid receiving a citation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Red SUV. Plate: 977HA. Hasn't moved in 6 months. Full of junk/garbage. Plates expired in 2021. Not enough spaces for tenants who live here to park. Parking at other buildings in other tenants places. There's a ticket on the front windshield that's been there for a week. view top 100 |
