Public Assistance Cases Opened by Month: Beginning 2006

This dataset, from New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, provides the number of Public Assistance case openings (applications approved) in each month for each Local Social Services District (SSD), similar to data published on an annual basis in the "Statistical Report on the Operations of New York State Public Assistance Programs."

For the non-New York City counties, the code refers to the alphabetical order of the district name (e.g., Albany=01, Yates = 57). For New York City, the code is 66.
