This dataset is a combined directory of the New York State Unified Certification Program (NYSUCP). Firms certified as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) by the New York State Department of Transportation, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority and Port Authority of New York New Jersey are included in this dataset.

Numbered codes, established by the National American Industry Classification System (NAICS), are the descriptions used by the NYSUCP Certifying Partners to designate the type of work that the DBE firm is certified to perform. Work Codes, established by the New York State Department of Transportation, are used by the NYSUCP Certifying Partners to designate the type of NYSDOT work the DBE is certified to perform.
