The dataset summarizes counts and rates of cumulative COVID-19 deaths by zip code in Santa Clara County. When a death occurs at a Long Term Care Facility (LTCF), the death will be counted for the zip code in which the LTCF is located; so zip codes with large LTCFs or LTCFs that experienced an outbreak may have higher death counts for this reason. Information about the number of LTCF deaths in the county can be found on the LTCF dashboard.Source: California Reportable Disease Information Exchange. This dataset is updated every Thursday.
