SUMMARY: This dataset contains information related to fatal traffic crashes reported by the Vermont State Police between January 1, 2010 and the prior month to date. These data are extracted from the Vermont Agency of Transportation’s electronic crash reporting system on a monthly basis. This particular dataset is made available in an effort to highlight the dangerous nature of Vermont highways, and that nearly half of all traffic fatalities since 2010 were unbuckled. Should you have questions about this dataset, please contact the Vermont Agency of Transportation at 802-828-2657.
