A death is classified as confirmed if the person had a laboratory-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result. Some data on deaths may be unavailable due to the time lag between the death, typically reported by a hospital or other facility, and the submission of the complete death certificate. This data layer does not include probable deaths. District Court of Maryland Eviction Case Data

Maryland enacted a new law in 2022 requiring the District Court of Maryland to collect and report eviction case data. Additionally, the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development is required to host a dashboard for the public to view and analyze the information, as well as produce an annual report on evictions. The District Court began collecting the eviction case data required under the law on January 1, 2023, and the public dashboard was launched in May 2023.
