Half Moon Bay Solid Waste Contribution to Greenhouse Gas Emissions column chart 2
datahub.smcgov.org | Last Updated 2019-05-10T16:59:26.000ZData by city showing solid waste contribution to greenhouse gas emissions in the County. This data is part of the Regionally Integrated Climate Action Planning Suite (RICAPS) program. Each city in San Mateo County has the opportunity to develop its own Climate Action Plan (CAP) using tools developed by C/CAG in conjunction with DNV KEMA https://www.dnvgl.com/ and Hara. http://www.verisae.com/default.aspx. This project was funded by grants from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) and Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). Climate Action Plans developed from these tools will meet BAAQMD's California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines for a Qualified Greenhouse Gas Reduction Strategy. For more information, please see the RICAPS site: http://www.smcenergywatch.com/progress_report.html

Low Noise Millimeter Wave LNA Project
nasa-test-0.demo.socrata.com | Last Updated 2015-07-20T05:24:11.000ZThe Phase I effort will result in a low noise MMIC G-Band amplifier the covers the entire 165 to 193GHz frequency range. The amplifier will be designed using a 50nm MHEMT that has already been developed by BAE Systems that enables the state-of-the-art performance to be achieved. The innovative amplifier design will have a gain of 20dB, a noise figure of less than 6dB(~4dB, an input output VSWR of less than 2:1. In addition, the MHEMT has the added advantage of having lower noise power stability and 1/f noise than InP devices. A balanced amplifier is the primary approach while a single ended unit will be investigated for missions that require reduced bandwidths. The MMIC amplifier will be designed to be inserted into a waveguide housing for additional and environmental testing in a Phase II program. At completion of the Phase II program, the amplifier will be capable of being space qualified for NASA missions.

Ultra Low Noise 1.06 Micron Laser Oscillator Project
nasa-test-0.demo.socrata.com | Last Updated 2015-07-20T05:29:00.000ZThe Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) demand state-of-the-art ultra-stable and low noise coherent lasers. This is a proposal to develop a space qualified high power, single mode, low noise and narrow linewidth fiber laser based on a"virtual ring" laser cavity at the 1.06 micron spectral band. This novel laser architecture enables traveling-wave oscillation in a compact, linear and all-fiber cavity. This leads to unprecedented low noise and stable laser oscillator. The all fiber device also offers a highly reliable, compact and power conserving solution. We have already demonstrated virtual ring oscillators at the 1.55 micron band that rival the state of the ring laser architecture. In this research we will develop a 1.06 micron laser that can meet or exceed the LISA experiment required laser specifications.

2008 Environmental Performance Index (EPI)
nasa-test-0.demo.socrata.com | Last Updated 2015-07-19T07:26:08.000ZThe 2008 Environmental Performance Index (EPI) centers on two broad environmental protection objectives: (1) reducing environmental stresses on human health, and (2) promoting ecosystem vitality and sound natural resource management. Derived from a careful review of the environmental literature, these twin goals mirror the priorities expressed by policymakers. Environmental health and ecosystem vitality are gauged using 25 indicators tracked in six well-established policy categories: Environmental Health (Environmental Burden of Disease, Water, and Air Pollution), Air Pollution (effects on ecosystems), Water (effects on ecosystems), Biodiversity and Habitat, Productive Natural Resources (Forestry, Fisheries, and Agriculture), and Climate Change. The 2008 EPI utilizes a proximity-to-target methodology in which performance on each indicator is rated on a 0 to 100 scale (100 represents at target). By identifying specific targets and measuring how close each country comes to them, the EPI provides a foundation for policy analysis and a context for evaluating performance. Issue-by-issue and aggregate rankings facilitate cross-country comparisons both globally and within relevant peer groups. The 2008 EPI is the result of collaboration among the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy (YCELP), Columbia University Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN), World Economic Forum (WEF), and the Joint Research Centre (JRC), European Commission.

Multi Family Garbage Composition - Diversion Potential
data.calgary.ca | Last Updated 2023-02-01T15:39:37.000ZThis chart shows multi family garbage bin composition, grouped by diversion potential. The multi-family results represent garbage bin waste from multi-family complexes, and represents the pooled average of samples in each of the four seasons of 2019 (40 samples). The multi-family developments sampled included both low rise and high rise types, and all were customers of The City’s Commercial Collections service. Waste Composition studies are periodically conducted by Waste and Recycling Services to help assess the performance of diversion and education programs and inform improvements and new program design.

Health Care In An Integrated System (LGHC Indicator)
healthdata.gov | Last Updated 2023-07-25T18:43:43.000ZThis is a source dataset for a Let's Get Healthy California indicator at https://letsgethealthy.ca.gov/. Percentage of Californians who receive care in an integrated system, defined as a Health Maintenance Organization that is tracked by the Department of Managed Health Care. Managed care refers to health care coverage that organizes doctors, hospitals and other providers into groups in order to enhance the quality and cost effectiveness of medical treatment. Today, 58 California counties receive their health care through six main models of managed care: Two-Plan, County Organized Health Systems (COHS), Geographic Managed Care (GMC), Regional Model (RM), Imperial, and San Benito. County enrollment information is compiled by Department of Managed Health Care Licensed Full Service Health Plans. This enrollment information is not standardized and may be designated by the member’s place of employment or home resulting in reporting inaccuracies.

India Annual Winter Cropped Area, 2001-2016
data.nasa.gov | Last Updated 2022-01-17T05:29:43.000ZThe India Annual Winter Cropped Area, 2001 - 2016 consists of annual winter cropped areas for most of India (except the Northeastern states) from 2000-2001 to 2015-2016. This data set utilizes the NASA Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI; spatial resolution: 250m) for the winter growing season (October-March). The methodology uses an automated algorithm identifying the EVI peak in each pixel for each year and linearly scales the EVI value between 0% and 100% cropped area within that particular pixel. Maps were then resampled to 1 km and were validated using high-resolution QuickBird, RapidEye, SkySat, and WorldView-2 images spanning 2008 to 2016 across 11 different agricultural regions of India. The spatial resolution of the data set is 1 km, resampled from 250m. The data are distributed as GeoTIFF and NetCDF files and are in WGS 84 projection.
