I-MAGIC
datadiscovery.nlm.nih.gov | Last Updated 2022-09-30T22:32:11.000ZI-MAGIC is an interactive tool to demonstrate how the SNOMED CT to ICD-10-CM map (https://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/umls/mapping_projects/snomedct_to_icd10cm.html) can be used to generate ICD-10-CM codes from clinical problems coded in SNOMED CT. It simulates a problem list entry interface in which the user searches for problem terms which are mapped to SNOMED CT codes in the back end. The SNOMED CT codes are then used to derive ICD-10-CM codes using the Map.

MAGPIE (Map Assisted Generation of Procedure and Intervention Encoding) [DEMO]
datadiscovery.nlm.nih.gov | Last Updated 2024-07-19T14:54:55.000ZMAGPIE is an interactive tool to help users (e.g., professional coders, researchers, clinicians) find SNOMED CT and ICD-10-PCS codes for medical procedures and interventions. MAGPIE is an NLM research tool (it has not been tested in a production environment), and is developed primarily for the 2018 version of ICD-10-PCS. MAGPIE combines lexical and map-assisted searching strategies to look for SNOMED CT, ICD-9-CM, and ICD-10-PCS codes sequentially.

PubMed total records by publication year
datadiscovery.nlm.nih.gov | Last Updated 2022-09-30T22:32:09.000ZYearly citation totals from each year of the MEDLINE/PubMed Baseline referencing citations back to year 1781. These totals may increase over time for a particular year as new citations are added. For example, 25 citations were listed for the year 1800 in the 2018 MEDLINE/PubMed Baseline, while the 2019 Baseline includes 387 citations for that year.

datadiscovery.nlm.nih.gov | Last Updated 2024-07-19T15:24:18.000ZThe NLM Visible Human Project® has created publicly-available complete, anatomically detailed, three-dimensional representations of a human male body and a human female body. Specifically, the VHP provides a public-domain library of cross-sectional cryosection, CT, and MRI images obtained from one male cadaver and one female cadaver. The Visible Man data set was publicly released in 1994 and the Visible Woman in 1995. https://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/visible/visible_human.html

Entrez Programming Utilities
datadiscovery.nlm.nih.gov | Last Updated 2024-07-19T14:36:34.000ZThe Entrez Programming Utilities (E-utilities) are a set of eight server-side programs that provide a stable interface into the Entrez query and database system at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The E-utilities use a fixed URL syntax that translates a standard set of input parameters into the values necessary for various NCBI software components to search for and retrieve the requested data. The E-utilities are therefore the structured interface to the Entrez system, which currently includes 38 databases covering a variety of biomedical data, including nucleotide and protein sequences, gene records, three-dimensional molecular structures, and the biomedical literature. Carcinogenic Potency Database (CPDB)
datadiscovery.nlm.nih.gov | Last Updated 2024-07-19T14:01:16.000ZThe CPDB is a single standardized resource of the results of 45 years of chronic, long-term carcinogenesis bioassays. The experiments vary widely in design, histopathological examination and nomenclature, and in the published authors’ choices of what information to publish in their papers. Data are included from 6153 experiments reported in the general literature and in the in Technical Reports of the National Cancer Institute/National Toxicology Program (NCI/NTP). Information is given in the CPDB on strain, sex, route of compound administration, target organ, histopathology, author’s opinion about carcinogenicity, and reference to the published paper, as well as quantitative data on statistical significance, tumor incidence, dose-response curve shape, length of experiment, duration of dosing, and dose-rate. The files on this Web site for the Excel format include (A) documentation of methods, field descriptions, and linking instructions; (B) Excel files; and (C) ancillary files of appendices. NOTE: This dataset is no-longer updated with new content.

MEDLINE/PubMed Citations
datadiscovery.nlm.nih.gov | Last Updated 2024-07-19T14:51:19.000ZPubMed is a free resource supporting the search and retrieval of biomedical and life sciences literature with the aim of improving health–both globally and personally. The PubMed database contains citations and abstracts of biomedical literature. It does not include full text journal articles; however, links to the full text are often present when available from other sources, such as the publisher's website or PubMed Central (PMC). See the PubMed User Guide for more information. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/help/
