Personal Income Tax Filers, Summary Dataset 2 - Major Items and Income & Deduction Components by Place of Residence and Broad Income Range: Beginning Tax Year 2015
data.ny.gov | Last Updated 2024-08-08T13:00:55.000ZBeginning with tax year 2015, the Department of Taxation and Finance (hereafter “the Department”) began producing a new annual population data study file to provide more comprehensive statistical information on New York State personal income tax returns. The data are from full‐year resident, nonresident, and part‐year resident returns filed between January 1 and December 31 of the year after the start of the liability period (hereafter referred to as the “processing year”). The four datasets display major income tax components by tax year. This includes the distribution of New York adjusted gross income and tax liability by county or place of residence, as well as the value of deductions, exemptions, taxable income and tax before credits by size of income. In addition, three of the four datasets include all the components of income, the components of deductions, and the addition/subtraction modifications. Caution: The current datasets are based on population data. For tax years prior to 2015, data were based on sample data. Data customers are advised to use caution when drawing conclusions comparing data for tax years prior to 2015 and subsequent tax years. Further details are included in the Overview.

Data are provided for the state, 10 labor market regions, and counties. State counts can include everyone who receives benefits through New York State (including out-of-state residents) or only state residents who do so (excluding out-of-state residents). Regular unemployment insurance includes: Unemployment Insurance (UI) Compensation, Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE), Unemployment Compensation for Ex-Service Members (UCX), Shared Work (SW) and Self Employment Assistance Program (SEAP). It excludes federal extensions and 599.2 training.

For the current version of this data, please visit: https://health.data.ny.gov/d/gikn-znjh This dataset reports daily on the number of people vaccinated by New York providers with at least one dose and with a complete COVID-19 vaccination series overall since December 14, 2020. New York providers include hospitals, mass vaccination sites operated by the State or local governments, pharmacies, and other providers registered with the State to serve as points of distribution. This dataset is created by the New York State Department of Health from data reported to the New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS) and the New York City Citywide Immunization Registry (NYC CIR). County-level vaccination data is based on data reported to NYSIIS and NYC CIR by the providers administering vaccines. Residency is self-reported by the individual being vaccinated. This data does not include vaccine administered through Federal entities or performed outside of New York State to New York residents. NYSIIS and CIR data is used for county-level statistics. New York State Department of Health requires all New York State vaccination providers to report all COVID-19 vaccination administration data to NYSIIS and NYC CIR within 24 hours of administration.
